Venturi System, Dilute Phase
- Product is entrained in air stream, as in conventional dilute phase pressure system.
- Requires no rotary airlock, but operates at substantially less efficiency than conventional dilute pressure.
- More suitable for mildly abrasive product than airlock feeder.
- No positive pressure at inlet, eliminating blow-by leakage as with airlock, which in turn causes bridging and erratic flow.

Advantages:
· Good for high abrasive materials
· Good for high temperature materials
· Very low profile
Disadvantages:
· Limited capacities (approx. 2-3 TPH)
· Limited distances (approx. 200 feet)
